Congrats to the re-elected Hamilton Frost of Hendersonville, TN!
His sweet daughter is my next door neighbor and wanted to surprise her dad with a celebratory cake. Win or lose, he was going to be loved!

Lucky for me, she watches the occasional cake-related TV show and was full of ideas of just how great this cake could be.

Here he is! Hamilton has been responsible for a new park area in Hendersonville, including the construction of the Friendship Bridge that crosses Drakes Creek.
Here’s what he really looks like :)

We used a blue gel to create the glassy effect of the river and piped buttercream for the grass.

He also helped the new Hendersonville Public Library make its way into town.

In addition, he is a huge supporter of the Fire and Police Departments, so we included their patches they wear prominently on the cake.

Dianne was such a big help to me. She made the bridge all by herself! Great ideas!
