Country Wedding

I had the privilege of doing another wedding for our sweet friends kimberly & joe. Joe is from Texas and his wife-to-be wanted to surprise him with a strawberry-flavored grooms cake of hot dogs :) (photos courtesy of their photographer, not my iphone for once!)

Kimberly did a ton of the decorations on her own, including making a quilt with the classic double wedding ring pattern which we then duplicated on the cake.



We chose the white chocolate apricot flavor, which proved to be a huge hit. apricots were not quite in season, so i used jarred fruit. No one else seemed to notice, but i could tell that it was worth it to declare this a seasonal flavor with fresh apricots only!

We had such a blast at this reception!
